I decided to look up Cory Arcangel. Honestly, it was because his name was cool and unique.
He has a background in classical guitar and music tech. He went to Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio in the 90s. He has had solo exhibitions at the Whitney, MoMA PS1, in the UK, Austria, Germany, and many more countries and museums.
When I looked at his website there some cool projects as well. He is a contemporary mulimedia artist who became really popular for his video game mods, namely Super Mario Clouds (2002). He took an old Super Mario Brothers game cartridge and modified it by erasing all everything but the clouds and sky. The result is just clouds moving through the sky.
Another one is called Space Invader in which all the "invaders" are erased except one. The one Invader inherits all the bullets from the other invaders so it shoots really quick and it's hard to play.

And the last one I wanted to mention is called Super Slow Tetris in which the game was modded to make the blocks fall really slowly. It apparently takes almost 8 hours to complete one game, but at the same time the player is unable to move the blocks from side to side which makes it so annoying.
