Roopa Vasudevan
Roopa's presentation in the beginning was on API's and mainly Twitter's terms of service for bots. I knew that she did some work using Twitter to make these mock presidential campaign merch to point out what people were saying about the candidates in 2016, but I never thought about how that hard work could go to waste if a Company just changed their terms of service that would deter Artists like her from using the platform as a resource,
Another thing she mentioned was this master/slave thing that takes place in companies. She talked about a Museum(I forget) and that the CEO or the main funder of the museum was making weapons that hurt and was used against some countries and how he had to step down because of that.

I'm not that familiar with UX so I thought this lecture was really helpful since it made me think a lot more about how I can make my projects more user-friendly and more accessible to use. To be honest I can't remember any specific examples she gave during class.
