Love Letter/Breakup Letter

This is a love letter to my guitar.
It was the summer of 2018. I saw you laid out in the corner of the store. It felt like a divine calling to just pick you up and just try you out. The moment I heard the resonance of your sound, the way you fit in my arms, I knew. I knew you were the one I had to be with. I was happy all the times I could jam with you and just chill on lonely nights. I don't think I've ever been disappointed with you. Even though you may go out of tune, I am okay with it because it's just one of your many quirks.
Sometimes you fight back though, giving my fingers a hard time and producing blisters on them I wished your strings weren't as thick. I know you sit in the corner of my room now, just waiting for me to come and be with you. So I am sorry, I just want to tell you that I appreciate you because you've always been there and I promise we'll have more nights we'll hang out.
Best,
Daniel
