So I chose to create a music video with an original song of mine that I will produce. This music video/song will explore my transition from majors and many emotions and feelings I had during that time, since there was also a lot going on in my personal life during that time.
Unfortunately this week I couldn't really get anything done. Not going to go much into my week, I just couldn't sit down and jam with my guitar or write anything. In order to narrow down the themes of my song, I want to write a song about feeling uncertain and being lost/not having a goal.
Joji's new album came out, while I was out of the house I would listen to it. I feel like this album goes into the aspect of becoming famous and the cost of it. Like how you are giving up your privacy, how there is corruption in many industries(music, film), and just the mental pressure being famous puts on you. It really showed me the creative direction I can take into writing a song and filming a music video to follow because these messages weren't that clear when I listen to it the first time, or when I watched the music videos. It gave me inspiration on how I could craft "my story" into the music video.
I went to the city during the week and I had a chance to film a scenery I liked. I would like to incorporate it into my music video.
For next week, since I couldn't get anything done this week, I will write out some lyrics and to draw? out a storyboard.
